MoMA Event Poster

the PROBLEM

For this project, we had to create a museum poster and this brought out my creativity, skill and ability to communicate visually. I chose MoMa and did some research on their website. The poster is portrayed to be rich and immersive experience that encourages dialogue, reflection and engagement with contemporary art.

the PROCESS

This process took me on an engaging exploration of the details and uses of typography in visual communication. I started by going over the fundmentals of typography and worked my way up to more complex ideas like font pairing, hierarchy and readability.

STUDIES

In the ideation phase, I sketched out a few of layouts. By means of hands on tasks and a look at of various typographic styles, I refined my skills in choosing suitable typefaces and creating visually appealing layouts. I also played around with color theory to see how color influences typography design. All in every aspect, my type study process was useful and insightful, giving me the knowledge and confidence I need to produce influential and visually appealing designs in the future.
